Definitions

“TSRC” means The Sweet Reason Company Limited, company number 08857319, registered in England and Wales also referred to as “we” or “us” in these terms and conditions.

Our service to you

We aim to give you an excellent service and for you to be satisfied with our products. However if you’ve sent or received a Sweet Reason product and you’re not happy with the experience, please send us an email to hello@thesweetreasoncompany.co.uk or call us on 02031498700. We’ll do our best to get back to you within 24 hours, and we will make sure we correct any mistake that may have happened.

Order process

Payment

We take payment when we know we can fulfil your order. If there is a problem with your order we’ll be in touch within 24 hours Monday to Friday.

Dispatch

We aim to send your order out within 2 working days. If we’re not able to meet this timeframe we’ll let you know by email. We’ll be able to offer you a different product, a later delivery date, or, a refund. We don’t dispatch our products at the weekend or on bank holidays. If you have selected 'Special delivery' we will aim to get your order out the next working day for all orders made before noon. For orders made after noon, they will be dispatched the next working day. Special delivery orders are received Monday - Friday, a Saturday delivery incurs an extra cost. 

Returns policy

For goods which have been sent by mistake or are damaged returns are accepted. If you your order is damaged or you have received the wrong product please contact us immediately. Depending on the condition we will offer to re-send the items or exchange them. We do not offer refunds in any other circumstances as our products are perishable

Post dated delivery

Post dated deliveries need to ensure enough days are allowed for the delivery option you have chosen, in particular second class which takes 3-5 days to arrive. Also, we cannot guarantee any delivery date unless you select the tracked delivery option which is guaranteed. If a delivery date is selected, we can only guarantee this date if Next Day Delivery (tracked) or Saturday delivery service are paid for, otherwise we will aim for it to arrive as near to the delivery date you have requested.

Corporate Orders 

All orders are to be paid 50% upon order and 50% before dispatch. Production will not start until payment is received, so late payment may affect delivery dates. 

Personal messages

Please make your personal messages on the gift card appropriate. We reserve the right not to print and send a message that may contain offensive and/or inappropriate content.

Offers

We will often provide seasonal offers via our newsletter, social media and on our website. These are only valid on our website www.thesweetreasoncompany.co.uk. These will be valid for a limited time only, please see expiry date which is given with the code. Discount will be provided once stated code is entered at the online checkout. Offers will not include delivery unless stated otherwise. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers unless stated otherwise. 

Shelf life

All of our baked products in our classic and gluten free ranges have a shelf life of approximately 21 days from receipt, depending on the bakes you have chosen and the type of delivery selected. Our vegan range has a shelf life of 5-7 days for the brownies, and 21 days for the raw slices. If a box is purchased from us and not given to the recipient or opened within the best before dates, we cannot take responsibility for the bakes being out of date when opened.
