It's time for gluten free...

As our brownies are so delicious, we thought it was only fair that we roll out our gluten free range so that more of you can sample our heavenly brownies. I recently found a really interesting article on Stylist.co.uk  online and it stated that .. "the number of people diagnosed in the UK with coeliac disease increased fourfold between 1990 and 2011 (most likely to do with better diagnosis, rather than more people developing the condition) with 1 in 100 people in the UK affected by the disease." So it is definitely time we shared the brownie love..

I have a few friends that suffer from coeliac disease and they were the lucky ones who got to do the taste test on our new range of gluten free brownies. The said that gluten free ranges of sweet treats in supermarkets and cafes can be disappointing, however our wonderful baker Maria has managed to come up with a tasty, chocolatey, wheat free brownie they loved.

We have launched with 4 delicious flavours, Salted Caramel, Peanut Butter, Triple Chocolate and Coconut. We have put these in one of our brownie bites box containing 2 of each flavour. Working on this range has made us aware of the fabulous blogs and recipes available, we loved this article from The Guardian which we keep dipping into for inspiration for further gluten free ideas.

We are now looking forward to Mother's Day and are so excited with our new box we have launched with its pretty pink shredded tissue paper. We are topping our salted caramel brownies with pink glitter, to add a little bit of extra sparkle to Mother's Day, which every Mum deserves. I have 2 young children so I really look forward to Mother's Day.. getting lots of extra cuddles and kisses and I may treat myself to one or two brownies on the day too.. with a lovely cup of tea and my feet up I hope!

As you have probably seen, we also now sell on Not On The High Street and as I am always on their website I can't help but see all their gorgeous gifts for Mother's Day.... but I am sure your mother would like glittery brownie bites this year wouldn't she?

Bye for now

Suzie
